We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations while working alongside the team in a hands-on role. This position requires a motivated leader who can oversee inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse staff while safely operating forklifts and reach trucks.
Full Job Description:
Duties:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and materials handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure efficient inventory management processes.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse personnel to maximize productivity and performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks as part of daily responsibilities.
- Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and other warehouse duties as needed.
Skills:
- Previous warehouse supervisory experience required.
- Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices.
