1970's

  • 1975  Moran Logistics is founded by John “Jack” D. Moran Sr. in Muncy, PA 
  • 1978  ML acquires 400,000 square foot warehousing facility in Montgomery, PA

1980's

  • 1983  ML acquires 1,000,030 square foot warehousing complex in Watsontown, PA
  • 1988  John D. Moran Jr. graduates from Kings College and joins company full time as Executive Vice President

1990's

  • 1990  ML begins offering trucking services
    1992  ML expands to Mountain Top, PA with the opening of a 200,000 square foot facility
  • 1994  ML expands Mountain Top facility to 400,000 square feet
  • 1996   ML opens a second location in Mountain Top, PA with opening of a new 105,000 square foot facility
  • 1996  ML expands Watsontown campus with the opening of a new 63,000 square foot warehouse facility
  • 1999  ML expands Watsontown campus with the construction of a new 40,000 square foot warehouse facility

2000's

  • 2002  ML opens new corporate offices and company headquarters in Watsontown
    2002  ML expands Watsontown campus with construction of new 100,000 square foot warehouse facility
  • 2004  ML installs The Exceed 4000 Tier 1 Warehouse Management System 
  • 2005  ML expands operations to White Deer, PA with opening of 130,000  square foot facility and to Sunbury, PA with opening of 120,000 square foot facility
  • 2006  ML opens 250,000 square foot warehousing facility in Williamsport, PA
  • 2007  ML expands Watsontown campus with opening of new 130,000 square foot facility
  • 2008  ML Purchases Matthew Street in Watsontown and purchases an additional 105 acres in Watsontown in order provide rail service and expand existing operations

2010's

  • 2010  ML opens 504,000 square foot warehousing facility in Mechanicsburg, PA
  • 2011  ML builds North America’s largest indoor synthetic mud plant and logistics center in Williamsport, PA
  • 2011  ML opens two logistic centers designed to service the natural gas industry in Montgomery, PA
  • 2012  ML opens an additional 150,000 square foot warehousing facility in Williamsport, PA 
  • 2012  ML opens 283,000 square foot warehouse facility opened in New Columbia, PA
  • 2014  ML acquires former Capitol View Commerce Center in Harrisburg
  • 2014  Moran begins offering Rental Equipment Services to support the Marcellus Shale Gas industry  
  • 2015  Moran Logistics acquires 283,000 square foot warehouse facility in Gettysburg, PA
  • 2017  ML opens new state of the art trucking facility in Watsontown, PA
  • 2018  John D. Moran III graduates from The American University Kogod School of Business and begins career at the company, making Moran Logistics a three-generation family owned and operated company
